Introduction

Welcome to Numora. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our mobile
application (the "App") operated by an individual developer ("we," "us," or "our").

Service Information:

By creating an account or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you
disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access or use the App.

Age Requirement: You must be at least 13 years old to use this App. If you are under 18,
you must have parental consent to create an account.

Use of the App

License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable,
revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete, and current
information. You are responsible for safeguarding the password and for all activities
that occur under your account.

Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Use the App in any way that violates any applicable law or regulation

  • Use the App to transmit any material that is defamatory, offensive, or otherwise
    objectionable

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the App

  • Use the App to collect or harvest any personal data of other users

  • Use the App for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent

  • Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the App or servers

  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App

  • Remove, circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with security-related features of
    the App

Our Privacy Policy, available in the App and on our website, explains how we collect,
use, and share your information. By using the App, you agree to our collection, use, and
sharing of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

The App provides you with controls to manage your privacy preferences. You can grant or
withdraw consent for various data collection and processing activities through the
Privacy Settings screen in the App. Your choices will be respected and will affect how
we collect and process your data.

Analytics and Personalization

Settings in the App.

    import is free)

  • Transaction Insights: AI-powered insights into your spending patterns, behavior
    analysis, and personalized recommendations

  • Budget & Goal Analytics: Detailed analytics, forecasting, and predictive insights for
    budgets and goals

  • Home Card Management: Customize which cards appear on your home screen and their order

  • Advanced Customization: Additional theme options, accent colors, and personalization
    features

  • Country-Specific AI Recommendations: Get AI-powered goal recommendations tailored to
    your country's economy and financial context

  • Advanced Transaction Intelligence: Smart categorization suggestions, duplicate

Subscription and Payments

Subscription Options

  • Monthly Subscription: Billed monthly

  • Annual Subscription: Billed annually (typically offers savings)

  • Lifetime Purchase: One-time payment for permanent access

Payment Processing

All payments are processed through Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).

We do not collect, process, or store your payment information. All payment transactions
are handled securely by Apple or Google in accordance with their payment terms.

Subscription Terms

  • Payment will be charged to your App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of
    purchase

  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours
    before the end of the current period

  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the
    current period

  • The cost of renewal will be clearly indicated

  • Lifetime purchases do not renew and are one-time payments

Managing Your Subscription

You can manage and cancel your subscriptions through:

iOS (Apple App Store):

  1. Go to Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions

  2. Select Numora

  3. Cancel or modify your subscription

Android (Google Play):

  1. Open Google Play Store

  2. Go to Menu → Subscriptions

  3. Select Numora

  4. Cancel or modify your subscription

Alternatively, you can manage subscriptions directly in the App under Settings →
Subscription.

Cancellation

  • You can cancel your subscription at any time

  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period

  • You will retain premium features until the end of the paid period

  • No partial refunds are provided for unused time in the current billing period

Refund Policy

Refunds are handled exclusively by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store) according to
their respective refund policies. We do not process refunds directly.

To request a refund:

Refund Guidelines:

  • Apple and Google have their own refund policies and approval criteria

  • Refunds are typically available within 14 days of purchase (varies by platform and
    region)

  • We cannot guarantee refund approval as it is at the discretion of Apple/Google

Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify subscription prices. If we increase prices:

  • Existing subscribers will be notified at least 30 days in advance

  • The new price will apply to your next billing cycle

  • You can cancel before the new price takes effect

Free Trials

We may offer free trials for premium features:

  • Trial duration will be clearly stated

  • You can cancel anytime during the trial period without charge

  • If not canceled, you will be automatically charged at the end of the trial

  • Only one free trial per user

User Content and Feedback

Your Content

The App allows you to input and store financial data. You retain all rights and
ownership of your data.

Your financial data belongs to you, and you can:

  • Edit or delete it at any time

  • Export it in machine-readable formats (CSV, JSON)

  • Delete your account and all associated data

License to Your Content

By using the App, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to use, store, and
process your content solely for the purpose of providing and operating the App's
services, including:

  • Storing and displaying your data

  • Syncing your data across devices (if cloud sync is enabled)

  • Generating reports and insights

  • Providing customer support

This license terminates when you delete your data or account.

Shared Budgets and Goals

When you share a budget or goal with family members:

Your Responsibilities:

  • You are responsible for inviting only trusted individuals

  • You control who can see and access shared items

  • You can remove participants or delete shared items at any time

Participant Rights:

  • Participants can view shared budget/goal data

  • Participants can leave shared items at any time

  • Participants cannot delete shared items created by you (only their own contributions)

Privacy Notice:

  • Shared data is visible to all participants in real-time

  • We are not responsible for how other participants use or share the data

  • Be cautious about sharing sensitive financial information

Feedback and Suggestions

If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the App, you grant us the right to
use such feedback without restriction and without compensation to you. This helps us
improve the App for all users.

Intellectual Property

Our Content

The App and its original content, features, functionality, design, and code are owned by
the developer and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade
secret, and other intellectual property laws.

"Numora" Name and Logo: The Numora name, logo, and branding are trademarks and may not
be used without permission.

Open Source Components

The App may include open-source software components, each governed by their respective
licenses. These licenses are available in the App under Settings → About → Third-Party
Licenses.

Your License to Use the App

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable,
revocable license to:

  • Download and install the App on your personal device(s)

  • Use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes

You may NOT:

  • Sell, rent, lease, or sublicense the App

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App

  • Copy, modify, or create derivative works

  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices

  • Use the App for commercial purposes without permission

Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE"
WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

We disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:

  • Merchantability: The App is suitable for general use

  • Fitness for a Particular Purpose: The App meets your specific needs

  • Non-Infringement: The App does not violate third-party rights

  • Accuracy: Data, calculations, and reports are error-free

  • Reliability: The App will function without interruption

  • Security: The App is completely secure from unauthorized access

We do not warrant that:

  • The App will function uninterrupted or error-free

  • Defects will be corrected

  • The App is free of viruses or harmful components

  • The results from using the App will be accurate or reliable

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, the developer, its affiliates, officers,
employees, agents, partners, and licensors SHALL NOT BE LIABLE for any indirect,
incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation:

  • Loss of Profits or Revenue: Financial losses resulting from your use of the App

  • Loss of Data: Loss or corruption of your financial data (always maintain backups)

  • Loss of Business or Opportunity: Missed opportunities due to App malfunction

  • Personal Injury: Stress or emotional distress

  • Loss of Goodwill or Reputation

  • Costs of Substitute Services: Finding alternative apps or services

  • Any Other Intangible Losses

Resulting from:

  • Your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the App

  • Any conduct or content of any third party in the App (e.g., shared budget
    participants)

  • Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your data

  • Errors, bugs, or defects in the App

  • Interruption or cessation of the App's services

  • Deletion of, corruption of, or failure to store your content

  • Any financial decisions you make based on the App's functionality

Maximum Liability: In any case, our total liability to you for all claims arising from
or related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to
the claim (or €100 if you haven't paid anything).

Some Jurisdictions Don't Allow Limitations: Some jurisdictions do not allow the
exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. In such jurisdictions,
our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

  • Numora is a personal finance tracking and budgeting tool

  • We are not licensed financial advisors, accountants, or tax professionals

  • The App does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice

  • All information, features, and insights are for informational and organizational
    purposes only

Your Responsibility

  • You are solely responsible for all financial decisions you make

  • Verify all calculations and reports before making financial decisions

  • The App's reports, forecasts, and insights are estimates based on your data

  • Past performance or trends do not guarantee future results

  • Consult qualified professionals (financial advisors, accountants, tax professionals)
    before making significant financial decisions

No Guarantee of Accuracy

  • While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that all calculations, reports, or
    data are error-free

  • Currency exchange rates may not be real-time or completely accurate

  • Budget tracking and forecasting are estimates based on your input

  • The App relies on data you manually enter—accuracy depends on your input

Tax Implications

  • The App does not provide tax advice

  • We are not responsible for tax reporting or compliance

  • Consult a qualified tax professional for tax-related questions

  • Keep separate records for tax purposes as required by law

Data Accuracy and Backup

Your Responsibility

IMPORTANT: You are responsible for maintaining backups of your financial data.

We provide data export functionality (CSV and JSON formats) that allows you to create
backups. We strongly recommend:

  • Exporting your data regularly (weekly or monthly)

  • Storing backups in a secure location (not just on your device)

  • Verifying exported data periodically

Our Responsibility

  • We use industry-standard encryption and security measures

  • Cloud sync (free feature available to all users) provides an additional layer of data
    redundancy

  • We maintain regular backups of cloud-synced data

  • However, we are not liable for data loss (see Limitation of Liability)

Data Accuracy

  • You are responsible for entering accurate data

  • Verify all calculations and reports before relying on them

  • Contact us if you notice any calculation errors

Termination and Account Suspension

Your Right to Terminate

You can terminate your account at any time by:

Upon termination:

  • Your local data will be deleted from your device

  • Cloud-synced data will be permanently deleted from our servers (cannot be recovered)

  • Premium subscriptions will continue until the end of the billing period (no refunds
    for partial periods)

Our Right to Terminate

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you:

  • Violate these Terms of Service

  • Engage in fraudulent activity

  • Abuse the App or harm other users

  • Use the App for illegal purposes

We will provide notice before termination unless:

  • It would be illegal to do so

  • You pose a security risk

  • Immediate termination is necessary to protect other users

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the developer, its affiliates,
officers, employees, contractors, agents, and licensors from and against any and all
claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, debts, and expenses (including
reasonable attorney's fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the App

  • Your violation of these Terms

  • Your violation of any third-party rights

  • Your financial data or decisions

  • Your interactions with other users (e.g., shared budget participants)

  • Any content you submit or share through the App

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Romania,
without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

As an EU member state, Romania's laws are harmonized with EU regulations including GDPR.

Jurisdiction

Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in
the courts located in Romania. You hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue
of such courts.

EU Online Dispute Resolution

EU users can access the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at:

Informal Resolution

Before filing any legal claim, please contact us to attempt to resolve the dispute
informally. We commit to working in good faith to resolve disputes amicably.

Changes to Terms

Notification of Changes

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If we make changes,
we will:

  • Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of these Terms

  • Notify you through the App (in-app notification)

  • Email you if changes are material (if we have your email)

  • Provide at least 30 days' notice for material changes

What Constitutes Material Changes

Material changes include:

  • Changes to subscription pricing or billing

  • Significant changes to features or functionality

  • Changes to refund or cancellation policies

  • Changes to your rights or our liability

  • Changes to data processing or privacy practices

Your Options

After receiving notice of changes:

  • Continue Using: Continued use constitutes acceptance of new Terms

  • Object: You can terminate your account if you don't agree with the changes

  • Contact Us: Reach out with questions or concerns

Non-Material Changes

For minor updates (typo fixes, clarifications, legal updates), we may not provide
advance notice.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of
law, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and
the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a
waiver of those rights. Any waiver of any provision of these Terms will be effective
only if in writing and signed by us.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between
you and us regarding the use of the App and supersede any prior agreements.

Assignment

We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms without your consent. You may
not assign your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent.

  7. You understand that premium features require a paid subscription

  8. You agree to the Privacy Policy

If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the App.
